Billing Policy - Devaland

Devaland bills two distinct offerings. Part A covers the Deal OS software subscription (our primary product). Part B covers Shopify and other done-for-you service engagements. The terms that apply to you depend on which you purchased.

Part A, Deal OS Subscriptions

A1. Monthly Plans, Billed in Advance

The Deal OS platform is sold as a monthly software subscription (Starter, Growth, and Scale tiers) processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions are billed automatically in advance for each billing period. Prices are shown on our pricing page; applicable VAT is added at checkout where relevant.

A2. AI Usage Allowance & Overage

Each plan includes a monthly AI usage allowance. Only successful AI runs count toward it, failed runs are never billed. We email you as you approach your allowance. Usage beyond the allowance is billed at 2× the underlying model cost, only the portion above the allowance, as a transparent, itemized line on your next monthly invoice, up to your plan's monthly cap. Once that cap is reached, new AI runs pause until your billing period resets, so nothing is charged mid-cycle by surprise. Upgrade or contact us to raise your cap.

A3. Cancellation & Refunds

You can cancel anytime from the in-app billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. New customers are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee: if Deal OS is not the right fit, email us within 30 days of your first subscription payment and we refund that first month in full. Beyond that guarantee, and except where required by applicable law, fees for a billing period already started are non-refundable; Deal OS is a business tool provided to organisations, and where mandatory consumer-protection rights apply to you, nothing here limits them. If a payment fails, access may be suspended until the account is brought current. The one-time $99 CIM Pass is a separate one-off purchase, not a subscription: because the cited brief is delivered immediately, the CIM Pass itself is non-refundable, but its $99 is credited toward your first month if you later subscribe.

A4. Optional White-Glove Onboarding

A one-time white-glove onboarding add-on is available for teams that want us to set up the workspace for them. It is optional and never required to use Deal OS. It is a fixed price: we migrate your pipeline and documents, configure your workspace, and train your team asynchronously (recorded walkthroughs and written guides, no live sessions), and we keep working at no additional cost until your workspace is fully live. If we are unable to get your workspace up and running, the fee is not charged, or is refunded in full if already paid. Enterprise plans are billed under separately agreed terms.

Part B, Shopify & Done-for-You Services

B1. Pricing, Deposits & Billing

One-time service plans (such as Speed Rescue and Modernize + AEO) are quoted at a fixed price and require a 50% deposit to begin, with the remaining 50% invoiced on delivery unless otherwise agreed. Recurring plans (such as the Growth Engine retainer) are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. All prices are exclusive of VAT, which is added at checkout; EU business customers may provide a valid VAT ID for the reverse-charge mechanism where applicable.

B2. Refunds & Cancellation

Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun, as they reserve our time and cover work already performed. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime and take effect at the end of the current billing period; fees for a period already started are non-refundable. Mandatory consumer-protection rights are unaffected.

B3. Scope, Approval & Results

Work is delivered per the agreed package or proposal. Where practicable, store changes are made on a draft or preview basis and published only with your approval. Results such as speed scores, rankings, traffic, AI citations and sales depend on factors outside our control, so no specific result is guaranteed.
